What's in your mind it means that is your reality. You are the main character in your story, If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. The more you know you are, the more make you powerful and confident.

Your self-concept is made up of I am beliefs about who you are presently, and I can beliefs about who you are capable of being in the future. From these I am and I can statements you create stories and narratives about who you are, that you tell yourself and other people all day long; I am not good enough, I am not lovable, I can not do it, I am smart, I am capable, I can achieve my goals. You are the main character in your story and you write the script based on your Self- contact that is largely self-created.

Emotion determines how we perceive our world, organise our memory, and make important decisions. You are the main character in your life; think positively, and positive things will come for you that will have effects on your mental health.

A blessed Sunday to all the beautiful people out there! Our quote for today is "Let your pen be the key to unlocking the emotions within you."

Verbalizing their feelings can be difficult for some people, but by writing down these emotions, you can have something to vent out or share with. Journaling or writing down what you are feeling at the moment can be a way for you to deal with and manage any emotion (big or small) you have at the moment.

Writing down your thoughts, emotions, and experiences regularly in a journal or notebook is a method of self-reflection and self-expression that can aid in your clarity, emotional processing, and long-term tracking of personal development.

Here is an informative article from the University of Rochester that tackles the essence of journaling and its benefits in managing and handling emotions. https://bit.ly/3zsnFjG

As we go onwards through Tuesday, let’s choose to express! Expressing emotions can be a challenge, especially when words don't seem to do them justice. That's why we often turn to other forms of expression to convey what we're feeling. Music, for example, can evoke emotions through melody and lyrics, while art can communicate complex feelings through visual imagery. These mediums can help us express what we're feeling in a way that language alone cannot.

But sometimes, the most powerful form of emotional expression is simply allowing ourselves to feel without trying to put our emotions into words. Whether it's through crying or simply acknowledging what we're feeling, giving ourselves the space to experience our emotions fully can be a powerful act of self-care and self-expression. It can also help us better understand ourselves and our needs, which can ultimately lead to greater emotional well-being.

So if you're struggling to express what you're feeling, know that there are many different ways to communicate your emotions. Whether it's through art, music, or simply allowing yourself to feel, there's no one right way to express yourself. The important thing is that you give yourself permission to feel and honor your emotions, whatever they may be.
