Thoughts and emotions can be difficult to express, but if we always encourage our minds to hold up unsaid thoughts and unspoken emotions, it can lead to stress, worry, and depression, which will eventually have an impact on our mental health and sense of well-being or peace of mind.

Peace of mind is all we ought to have and deserve as this may involve being free from stress, worry, and anxiety. When our minds are busy and filled with unsaid thoughts this might become intense, which means wanting to have peace of mind will be hard to achieve. We simply seek mental peace, or a calm, unwound, and contented mind. So it's always best to express your thoughts and emotions.
